Sighting intel was scattered across WhatsApp groups, outdated forums, and word-of-mouth tips from other visitors. We set out to change that.
Our story
It started with a missed leopard sighting. Our founding team — a mix of wildlife photographers, conservation technologists, and outdoor enthusiasts — realized that the fragmentation of sighting data was the single biggest pain point in the field. Information existed, but it was locked in private chats, shared too late, or posted with coordinates so precise that it endangered the very animals we loved.
We imagined a platform that aggregates real-time sighting intel from the community, layers it onto offline-ready topographic maps, and wraps it in ethical guardrails that protect sensitive species. Add smart timing algorithms that factor in weather, migration cycles, and historical activity, and you have a tool that transforms how photographers plan and execute their shoots.
